Responsibilities

Lectra has immediate openings for Electro-Mechanical Assemblers. Please contact us to learn more about these opportunities within our Manufacturing Workforce. 

• Assemble, test and troubleshoot capital equipment and electro-mechanical assemblies across various product lines;
• Apply lean assembly techniques within work cell environment;
• Responsible for the quality and functionality of completed assembly;
• Work from complex blueprints, verbal and/or hand written instructions, train others as necessary;
• Utilize hand and power tools, tooling and/or fixtures to perform assembly operations;

Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Operator job description [a.k.a. Forklift Operator]:

• Based on individual job duties, this position may require the incumbent to successfully complete employer training program to qualify for certification as Powered Industrial Truck / Forklift Operator; and must undergo periodic re-evaluation and re-certification at least once every three years to ensure that skills remain at a high level. 

Qualifications

Must have ability to assemble, test and troubleshoot capital equipment and electro-mechanical assemblies. Must be proficient with hand and power tools, using tooling or fixtures to perform assembly operations. Ability to read blueprints and follow both verbal and written instructions is required. Technical school training or 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Must be a team player with strong communication skills, and ability to work under little supervision. Must be willing to work overtime, including Saturdays.
