Leavitt Group Agency Association is Hiring a Personal Lines Account Manager Near Springs, MS

Personal Lines Account Managers are responsible for assisting insurance producers and other account managers in the day-to-day handling of personal lines accounts to maintain client relationships with a strong emphasis on service and account retention.

An account manager’s responsibilities

  • Assist producers in marketing new accounts and renewals
  • Handle carrier/client correspondence
  • Maintain client files in agency management system
  • Process applications and change forms
  • Process quotes
  • Provide customer service
  • Assist with reception
  • Prepare AOR changes and forward to carriers
  • Prepare reports for new sales, AORs, and lost business
  • Prepare new account and renewal proposals
  • Assist with submission of new business and follow-up on outstanding requirements
  • Assist with carrier/company/client correspondence projects as needed

Experience1-3 years of experience working with an independent agency or brokerage

License/CertificationActive Property and Casualty License in MS or the ability to be licensed quickly

Skills

  • Data Entry and online quoting experience
  • Experience using AMS 360 is preferred but not required
  • Basic Windows environment skills
  • Microsoft Office suite experience (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of insurance terminology, coverages, policies, and procedures
  • 1 – 3 years experience in a similar position
  • Preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a business or finance-related discipline or commensurate experience
  • HS diploma or GED at minimum
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Schedule
 8 hours Monday – Friday

PaySalary commensurate with experience and licensure with bonus pay available
