Position Summary:

We are seeking a Dynamics 365 Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work within our Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure environments to drive manufacturing operations efficiency, automate internal processes, inspire our customers with customer service and marketing solutions, and improve overall business performance. You will work closely with other developers and stakeholders to ensure that our applications are meeting the needs of the business. You will have the opportunity to work with fellow experienced developers, build applications that make a big impact, and play with the latest and greatest Microsoft technology. 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop solutions using the right mix of Dynamics 365, Power platform and Azure capabilities. 
    • Dynamics Finance and Operations (F&O), X
    • Azure Integration Services, C#
    • Dynamics 365 Sales, Service and Marketing (CRM)
    • Power Apps including reusable components using the Component Framework 
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical errors, data, and performance issues. 
  • Develop solutions that adhere to industry best practices and company standards. 
  • Champion high-quality testing, documentation, and code management practices. 
  • Collaborate and share knowledge with other team members as well as cross-functionally.
  • Assist in evaluating new technologies and partners. 
  • Be willing to continually learn and incorporate new tools and techniques. 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of development experience in a business environment, preferably related to Microsoft platforms, or a bachelor's degree in computer science 2 years of experience. 
  • Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations development experience with X and F&O coding patterns 
  • Strong working knowledge with and extension of F&O Data Entities 

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with C#, X , Web Stack (JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS), and OData Web Services 
  • Software testing and debugging with Postman, D365 F&O Acceptance Testing Framework, FakeXrmEasy Plugin Unit Testing 
  • Web Resources and Components using the Component Framework
  • Dataverse Customizations (Tables, Views, Actions and Virtual Entities) 
  • D365 F&O Customizations, Business Events, Data Entities, and Web API Service End-Points
  • Azure DevOps (Git Repo/Pipeline)
  • Azure Integration Services (App Service, Function Apps, Service Bus)
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Supply Chain), Marketing, Customer Service, and Customer Insights 
  • Power Automate and Power Pages 

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently sit; use hands to handle, grasp, or keyboard; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee occasionally stands or walks; climbs; stoops or crouches; and pushes/pulls. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 5 lbs., and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 55 lbs. The employee frequently pushes/pulls an average of 40 lbs., and occasionally pushes/pulls up to 70 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Working Conditions/Physical Hazards

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment, and occasionally exposed to production environment. Work area is well lit and air conditioned. All employees are expected to adhere to Company safety policies and wear personal protective equipment when exposed to work areas or performing tasks where it is required. Position can be hybrid or in-office setting based on business need. Employees working hybrid must be flexible to work in-office as required for work assignments, meetings, etc.
