Learning Care Group is Hiring a Child care coordinator Near Boulder, CO

Job Summary :

Responsible for managing the relationship between the school and the church while performing advanced administrative duties that require knowledge of business practices and procedures.

Essential Functions / Job Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Strives to achieve our Safety Vision of No One Gets Hurt .
  • Works to prevent injuries and accidents; follows all procedures relegated to injuries and accidents if one should occur.

Reports child injuries and hazards promptly to the Lead Teacher.

  • Reports suspected child abuse or neglect to local child protective agency or abuse hotline as mandated by state law.
  • Maintains regular contact with prospective families (leads) to build relationships and increase the close ratio of enrollment for families who tour.
  • Takes the lead on building a trusted and credible relationship with the families enrolled in the school.
  • Cultivates a very close working relationship with the leaders of the church to ensure we are operating the school in partnership with the church.
  • Ensures accuracy and timely collection of accounts receivable in accordance with company policies and procedures, including third party if applicable.
  • Tracks accounts and follows up with appropriate people for unpaid accounts.
  • Assists with P-Card reconciliation, reconciles receipts weekly, and compiles report monthly.
  • Monitor, collect and tally Federal Food count sheets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective customers by greeting visitors / parents and monitoring visitor access.
  • Files correspondence and other records.
  • Is able to showcase school / classroom offerings and conduct school tours if necessary.
  • Answers telephone and provides information to callers or routes call to appropriate individual and places outgoing calls.
  • Enrolls children and enters data on computer.
  • Responsible for the children’s files and follow up with families on any missing items.
  • Responsible for the collecting, reviewing for accuracy and maintaining attendance sheets.
  • Other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Regular attendance is expected and required.
  • Responsible for daily cleaning duties which include sweeping, mopping, disposing of trash.
  • Performs other related duties as requested by a member of management, and may be asked to work in classrooms when needed.

Education / Experience :

  • Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
  • Must meet all standards and requirements as it relates to education and experience as set forth by the state and accreditation agent.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous work experience in an office or childcare environment preferred.
  • If applicable, must maintain required units, certifications etc., as required by the state and Company.

Skills & Abilities (i.e. technical, organizations, knowledge, etc.) :

  • Must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, all essential functions of the job.
  • Excellent customer service, organization and time management skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office including, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of all current state and local regulations.
  • Must be able to communicate in the English language.

Compensation and Benefits :

Compensation ($23-$26) based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.

Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers

Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and child care discount available to all employees

All employees in Colorado are eligible for paid sick leave, as required by the Healthy Families Work Act. Full-time employees are provided with 48 hours upon hire and annually each fiscal year thereafter.

Part-time and temporary employees earn paid sick leave based upon hours worked.
