DIVISION IT MANAGER, TECHNICAL PRODUCT LEAD
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN –WORLD HEADQUARTERS – HYBRID

Innovative leader to optimize the delivery of business solutions at the enterprise level globally. The IT Manger is responsible to apply a structured business capabilities architecture approach and methodology for capturing the key views of the business and IT in the context of the enterprise. Plan, coordinate, architect, and supervise all activities related to the integration of data, systems and third-party solutions as required to meet the business requirements of the organization. Knowledge and experience around the organization’s core business processes and operations, along with the strategic use of technology to drive business strategy.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Manage Global IT Team to perform Flawless Execution:
    • Design end to end solutions that meet and scale to the business needs
    • Develop analytics vision and strategy
    • Create and maintain a business portfolio, including inventory and infrastructure diagrams.
    • Plan, execute, and manage the integration of new applications into existing systems and software throughout the enterprise.
    • Introduce and scale new systems to accommodate growth support automated manufacturing.
    • Ensure that integration planning and practices are aligned with strategic business goals and the company’s overall strategic vision.
    • Develop standards and processes to support and facilitate projects and initiatives.
    • Conduct research into project and portfolio management issues and products as required.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Evaluate results of projects, then report and make recommendations based on findings.
    • Improve solution delivery through better project planning and management experience.
    • Enable the organization to better manage and leverage existing automation playbooks, plug-ins, and modules as the depth and breadth of automation continues to expand.
  • Risk Reduction:
    • Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
    • Ensure compliance requirements are met for all application components and related services
    • Manage Third Party Services to ensure delivery per contracts and SLA's
  • Cost Optimization:
    • Propose cost saving ideas to improve the IT budget
    • Manage annual support renewals, invoices, PO, and payments.
  • Staff Management and Development
    • Develop Scorecard for myself and maintain scorecards for each employee
    • Perform Coaching Conversations per employee each year.
    • Mentor and coach staff; provide real time feedback
    • Develop Talent, grow Lear IT employees through internal support teams and co-ops

Your Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree, 5-7 years related experience
  • Proven experience in developing end to end solutions that meet and scale to the business needs
  • Experience with developing strategic plans.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with analytical tools, including, Power BI, Oracle, SQL Server, VBA, SSIS, SSRS
  • In-depth knowledge of testing practices and techniques.
  • Creative and efficient in proposing and driving solutions to complex, time-critical problems
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks as delegated
  • Proven leadership skills, and the ability to work and interact with departments and multiple levels of management throughout the organization
  • Promotes a team environment and a feeling of contribution and collaboration
  • Strong user-friendly written and oral communication skills including executive level presentation skills.
