We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Revenue Accounting Sr Analyst / Associate to join our Finance team at LeanTaaS. The Revenue Accounting Sr Analyst / Associate will be responsible for managing the invoicing process, monitoring accounts receivable, and facilitating collections efforts. Proficiency in NetSuite is required for this role.

The role requires availability for in-person meetings at our Santa Clara office as necessary. We are "flexibility-first" company, meaning there are no fixed office days.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Generate and issue accurate and timely customer invoices using NetSuite accounting software
  • Maintain up-to-date billing records and customer accounts receivable balances
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on past due invoices
  • Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper revenue recognition and accounting treatment
  • Prepare and distribute monthly statements to customers and reconcile accounts as needed
  • Assist with cash application and reconciliation of customer payments in NetSuite
  • Support the collections process by communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements
  • Provide regular updates and reports on accounts receivable metrics and aging trends to management
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in revenue accounting, accounts receivable, invoicing, or related finance roles
  • Proficiency in NetSuite or similar accounting software is required
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices related to accounts receivable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with collections and customer relationship management is a plus

$90,000 - $115,000 a year
The offered base salary will reflect careful consideration of a number of factors, including your location, skills and qualifications, prior relevant experience, internal equity and market conditions. This range may be modified in the future.
