The League of Southeastern Credit Unions & Affiliates (LSCU & Affiliates) is looking to hire a full-time Vice President of LEVERAGE Payment Solutions for our Payment Solutions team. If you possess outstanding oral, written, and presentation communication skills, coupled with a professional demeanor and well-developed, persuasive interpersonal abilities, enabling you to represent the organization proficiently to both internal and external audiences, then this position is tailored for you.

The LSCU & Affiliates represents over 300 credit unions and provides advocacy and regulatory information; education and training; cooperative initiatives; media relations, and business solutions to support its member credit unions in fulfilling their mission of 'People Helping People.' The Vice President of LEVERAGE Payment Solutions holds the responsibility of fostering growth and development within new and existing business ventures related to EFT Debit, Credit, Rewards, Gift Cards, and Chargeback Recovery Services. In this pivotal role, the VP is tasked with establishing and nurturing relationships with clients, aiming to maintain and expand the portfolio's reach. Keeping the service corporation competitive is achieved through strategic initiatives such as negotiating contracts, pricing structures, terms, and conditions, overseeing the RFP process, and ensuring exceptional client service. Key responsibilities also include making sales calls and delivering program presentations as necessary to drive business objectives. Furthermore, the VP directly supervises the Director of Consultative Services, the Strategic Account Manager, and portfolio consultants, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing team. In addition to these responsibilities, the VP serves as an integral part of the LSCU/LEVERAGE management team, contributing to the overall strategic direction and success of the organization.

In the role of Vice President of LEVERAGE Payment Solutions, your primary responsibilities will encompass a comprehensive evaluation of both the current and prospective clients' processing needs, ensuring LEVERAGE's integral role within their processing environment. It will be crucial to guarantee operational support efficiency across all product lines, including debit, credit, and chargeback (CRS). Your role involves a continuous assessment of existing products and exploration of potential offerings, leading to recommendations and implementations of changes or additions that keep LEVERAGE products relevant to our clients. Collaboration with existing clients will be a key aspect of your role, where you'll provide recommendations on best practices for marketing and increasing transaction volume in alignment with their strategic plans. Additionally, you'll extend managerial support for chargeback (CRS) and credit solutions, working closely with teams to ensure future viability and devising strategies for business growth. The responsibilities also extend to the development and execution of a strategy for contract renewals, focusing on retaining current relationships and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from both new and existing clients. Effective management of client expectations, and providing regular updates to senior management, including prospect status and travel schedules, is integral to this role. Furthermore, as Vice President of LEVERAGE Payment Solutions, you will be tasked with researching and tracking competitors' products and pricing, staying abreast of new trends and developments in the industry. Managing the department budget and operational plan will be part of your responsibilities, and you'll be authorized to attend and actively participate in state, regional, and national meetings and conferences as directed by the COO. Your role is pivotal in ensuring LEVERAGE Payment Solutions remains at the forefront of industry trends and continues to provide exceptional service and value to our clients.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution in marketing, business, finance, management, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
  • A minimum of (5) years of EFT-related experience
  • A minimum of (3) years experience supervising management-level employees.
  • Knowledge of financial spreadsheet software and its use.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Schedule:

Onsite presence in the office is required for a specified number of days, and frequent travel is expected, primarily within Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Travel arrangements may involve both airline and car transportation, and possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
