Leaf Technology, Inc is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer/Operator, this is a full-time position on our Day shift Monday – Friday. This position requires the ability to operate, set up, and program CNC machining equipment, to produce complete parts using blueprints provided with little supervision. Candidates must be capable of reading, programming & editing programs, and analyzing machining conditions.

Job Description: Ability to use Fanuc or Sieman Controls,

• Program, set up, operate and adjust Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) Mills & Lathes
• Close tolerance work, down to .0005" on small lot runs.
• Select, set up, and monitor tooling and adjust as needed.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and specifications
• Read and comprehend measuring equipment.
• Inspecting parts produced
• Design and produce fixturing for upcoming jobs.
• Lifting, loading, and unloading parts and fixtures into and out of the machine.
• Deburr parts during cycle time.
• Keep a neat, organized workplace and time-conscious of meeting deadlines.

Experience

• Experience with set up and programming CNC machining centers, Mills, CNC Lathes, various types of inspection equipment.
• Experience with Fanuc Controls, or Siemans Controls, G-code programming a plus with the ability to program g-code and conversational CNC programming languages
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED OR equivalent work experience
• Must have 2 to 4 years of trade school, vocational education, and/or 3 to 5 years’ work experience setting up and running a CNC machine preferred and/or apprenticeship
• Experience using CAD-CAM programs such as Bob CAD and or Mastercam - a plus
• Experienced in job shop environment machining metals
