Supervisor of Laboratory - Blood Bank

We are searching for a motivated leader for the Supervisor of Laboratory - Blood Bank in Healthcare position for an acute care facility in Sunny Southern California!

Job Summary

This is done in accordance with established best practices and evidence-based approaches to blood management and transfusion practices within the Laboratory's Blood Bank Section.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Obtained a bachelor's degree in medical technology, laboratory science, or a related field.
• Successfully completed an internship in Clinical Laboratory Science or a laboratory specialty.
• Holds a current and valid CLS license issued by the California Department of Health.
• Possesses a minimum of 5 years of training or experience, or both, in blood banking.
• Required to fulfill a minimum of 12 continuing education units annually as mandated by the license.
• Capable of conducting bench work when necessary.
• Prior experience in leadership and / or supervision is advantageous.

Salary Base : $100K - $160K
