Role and Responsibilities

The successful Alignment Technician candidate performs timely skilled repair orders following factory standards.

• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
• Drives vehicle onto wheel alignment rack and tests vehicle for faulty wheel alignment, bent axle, worn ball joints, and bent steering rods.
• Straightens axle and steering rods, adjusts shims, tie rods, and joining pins to align wheels or install new parts.
• Communicates efficiently with parts department for any needed parts.
• Communicates clearly to Service Advisors with any vehicle concerns or upon work order completion.
• Follows proper safety guidelines with tools, lifts, vehicle exhaust and vehicle movement.
• Keeps service bays clean and organized.
• Maintains security of the work area, tool storage, and vehicle keys.
• Completes all required trainings as needed.

Qualification and skills

• Valid and clean Driver’s record for the past two years.
• Strong automotive background. GM and ASE certifications, preferred.
• Solid work history performing Alignments.
• Time-management skills. Teamwork. Attention to detail. Organized.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.
