Job Summary: The HR Generalist will ensure that all associates are paid timely and accurately while assisting in other parts of the department as needed. Starting hourly rate is $13/hr. Essential Functions and Duties: Audit payrolls from each service center on a weekly basis Coordinate with benefits manager to ensure insurance premiums are deducted correctly Set up, deduct, and remit garnishments to proper agencies Assist employees with payroll issues as necessary Process payroll on a weekly basis Run overtime report on a weekly basis Audit insurance premiums on a weekly basis Audit check history on a weekly basis Process backgrounds and payroll deductions Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of company software Interpersonal communication Organizational skills Ability to multitask Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of general accounting principles Required Education and Experience: Required: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree OR High School diploma and equivalent experience Working Conditions: Indoors Office Environment Sitting for long periods of time Frequent use of telephone Take part in a company that has been successful for over 100 years and is still growing - join the Coleman Team today!
