Le Sud Bartender Job Description

Le Sud Mediterranean Cuisine Restaurant in Roscoe Village is looking for full time bartender. The right candidate is responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner and plays an integral role in ensuring our customers have exceptional dining experiences. At all times, Bartenders are expected to be attentive to our Guests' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed. If you have previous management skill will be a big plus. 

passionate about cocktails, wine, food, and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and previous experience working as a Bartender in a bustling, fast-paced restaurant setting. We also required 8 wine knowledge, Liquor inventory skills, food handler sanitation certificate and BASSET certificate.

• Previous serving experience required
• Excellent oral communication skills required
• Positive interpersonal skills required
• Excellent wine knowledge is required
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations

• Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails
• Understanding of unique and complementary flavor pairings
• Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness
• Ability to evaluate customer satisfaction and responsiveness
• Ability to enforce company policies regarding the consumption of alcohol
• Accountability in maintaining inventory and processing payments
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
