POSITION Store Manager

WHO YOU ARE

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

**Deliver results to meet or exceed store goals and company objectives: 40%**

* Develops and executes plans that maximize sales and ensure fiscal responsibility

* Creates strategies and tactics to drive positive results in key performance indicators

* Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer and business

* Manage the implementation of all promotional directives and visual merchandising initiatives

**Create, develop and manage an ongoing recruiting base and succession plan: 30%**

* Use performance management tools to educate, coach and mentor sales team

* Actively lead employees by regularly conducting performance assessments, providing feedback, setting challenging goals and developing next-level leaders.

* Track, maintain and communicate recruitment efforts and facilitate future candidate introductions.

**Foster a collaborative team environment that celebrates achievements while promoting accountability and individual/team contribution: 20%**

* Create a positive work environment where all employees are motivated to do their best.

* Link mission, vision, values, goals, and strategies to everyday work.

* Recognize and reward individual and team accomplishments using existing tools and programs while finding innovative methods of recognition.

* Promote and inspire a strong sales and service culture in a selling environment.

**Develop community and business partnerships: 10%**

* Identify, advance and leverage partnerships which benefits both the community and store.

* Build and maintain positive working relationship with center management.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

* College degree or equivalent job experience preferred

* 4 years management experience in specialty retail and/or hospitality

* Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and POS/laptop /handheld systems

* Requires occasional overnight travel up to 20%

**Physical requirements**

* Ability to be mobile and walking on the sales floor for extended period of time

* Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 25lbs.
