• Submit energy and gas scheduling, understand power generation operations, LCRA’s generation desk operating procedures, and of NERC and ERCOT operating guidelines, protocols, policies and procedures
• Develop skills and understanding of generation management systems
• Analyze and solve complex problems, have skills verbal and written communication, planning, scheduling, prioritizing and coordinating work within assigned work area, communicating effectively with team members, supervision / management and external organizations under normal and emergency conditions, articulating complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Have skills in basic level in office productivity applications (such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)
• Have the ability to work in a team environment, balance competing and high priority work demands, and to remain alert to anticipate problems and quickly respond to problems

You qualify with :

Four or more years of experience in control room operations, generation scheduling, system scheduling or other business critical operations or other relevant experience.

A degree(s) in finance, economics, math, electrical theory, electrical power distribution, electrical power generation, computer science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
