Lead and assist other personnel with setting forms for footings and towers. Assists in the assembly of rebar cages. Lead and assist other in pouring concrete for footings and bases for towers and steel H-frames.

Lead and assist other with layout work using blueprints and other specifications.

• Lead and assist in the maintenance and / or building of electrical structures, including high-voltage structures. Depending upon assigned area, may be required to climb up to heights of 100 feet to perform such duties.
• May dig ditches, use pavement breakers or be responsible for other manual labor tasks, as necessary.
• Performs work by traveling independently or with a small crew to various locations (substations, power plants, etc.) as scheduled.

You qualify with :

Nine or more years of experience in electrical or mechanical equipment installation, maintenance or repair in a high-voltage environment or transmission line installation, maintenance or repair.

A degree(s) in electrical power theory, electronics, instrumentation, controls, industrial or mechanical maintenance or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

Driver’s license
