The LCF Group (located in New Hyde Park) is an established MCA direct funder. We provide funding to small businesses in the form of a merchant cash advance. We purchase their future receivables and are repaid via daily ACH debits or a percentage of their credit card sales. We have been in business since 2011 and are growing rapidly. This is a fast paced, high-pressure position in a highly competitive industry. We are looking for an ambitious Commercial Collections Specialist!

This is a full time in-office position, located in New Hyde Park, NY

Commercial Collections Specialist Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Make collection calls as needed in a professional manner while maintaining good client relations.
• Answering debtor inquiries and negotiating settlements.
• Work directly with in-house attorneys to determine strategic course of action to resolve non-performing accounts.
• Working individually and with the team to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual collections goals are met.
• Maintain orderly and precise notes and update account status on the database regularly.

Commercial Collections Specialist Qualifications:

• 2 Years work experience in commercial debt collections and investigations.
• Skip Tracing experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word – Outlook - Excel.
• Able to multi-task and thrive in a busy environment.
• Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Salesforce experience is a plus, but not required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a preferred but not required.
