Reports to : Columbia-Montour Worship Leader

Hours Commitment : 10 hours / week (2 weekends per month; 5th week and special events rotation)

Number of Openings : 2 part-time roles open with the hours stated above

Education, Skills & Experiences :

• Innovative and self-leading, able to work with and motivate volunteers in a team environment.
• Ability to make decisions in time-sensitive, live productions.
• Ongoing physical ability to setup / teardown equipment, climb ladders, and lift equipment overhead.
• Ability to recruit, train and lead people.

Primary Responsibilities : Relational (50%)

• Build a culture of growth and excellence within the location's tech team.
• Recruit, train, and incorporate highly effective volunteers to the location's tech team.
• Care for and point volunteers towards a growing relationship with Christ.
• Cast vision by sharing stories of Life change and celebrating wins.

Primary Responsibilities : Technical (50)%

• Work 26 weekends per year.
• Communicate and coordinate with other Columbia-Montour Production Technician.
• Weekend Gathering preparation.
• Own your location's auditorium (preparation, maintenance and organization).
• Schedule volunteers.
• Operate, and train volunteers to operate sound, lighting and video equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and errors.
• Adapt systems to accomplish new goals.
• Resource other production environments at the Columbia-Montour location.
• Assist the Columbia-Montour location with special events throughout the year, above and beyond the weekend such as : Leadership Summit, Funerals, Graduations, Christmas & Easter Gatherings etc.

Evaluation :

The Columbia-Montour Production Technician PT will meet regularly with the Columbia-Montour Worship Leader for planning, goal setting, progress updates, and general coaching.

A formal Action and Development Plan will be completed and reviewed three times throughout the year.
