We're looking for a highly skilled, full-time professional Electronic Security Technician for the accomplishment of complex electronic security system preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. This position requires technical support for controlling physical access thereby protecting sensitive work-related activities, information, documentation, equipment, visitors, and Agency personnel in those controlled areas.
These are full-time positions which require 75% within the region, working at government sites (e.g. federal courthouse, public defender offices, etc.) for the required length of time (could be several days, or several weeks, per site contract). This position starts in February 2024, and is a 5-year opportunity.
Pay begins at $80k annually, with full benefits as a W-2 employee. Travel related accommodations and per diem are provided.
Description
Supports field equipment installation and/or preventative and corrective maintenance of existing Access Control Systems and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance systems (internal and external to facilities including ambush monitors) and integration of these systems into a system to monitor physical plant, people, and contents efficiently and effectively. Candidate must have proficiencies in installing ESS infrastructure including conduit and cable.
Candidate must have the technical experience and familiarity with specific ESS platforms to support the following systems to include but not limited to: Identiv, C*CURE 9000, Lenel, Bosch Video Management System.
Think, a home security system, on steroids.
Clearance Requirements
Must have an active or be able to obtain a Public Trust and/or Secret clearance.
