Matson Alarm, a Pye-Barker company, is hiring for a Security Installation Technician in our Modesto, California location.

Position Summary: The Security Installation Technician's sole purpose is to serve customers by installing security systems properly and professionally.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage the installation and service of security systems / equipment
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, service and preventative maintenance
• System testing and inspecting to the prescribed standards
• Install equipment according to safety code standards
• Provide on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of customer equipment
• Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports
• Ensure a high level of customer service, satisfaction, and communication
• Interface successfully with Administration, Sales, Customers, and Management
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment on and off site
• Maintain accurate record of work performed
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools
• Perform other duties as required

Education & Required Skills:

• High School Diploma
• 1 years' experience in the alarm industry required
• Previous experience installing security systems preferred
• Ability to install, inspect, or service systems with minimum supervision
• Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well organized
• Basic computer knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must read and speak English
• Current & valid Driver's License
• Must be able to obtain/possess alarm agent permit where applicable and according to Federal, State, and Municipal laws
