Layton Sports Cards, one of the leaders in the Sports Cards breaking industry is looking to expand the team! We are in search of a skilled entry-level Social Media Specialist.

We are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Social Media Specialist. This role will be responsible for creating, executing, and optimizing social media campaigns across various platforms to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and achieve marketing objectives. This individual will be skilled and proficient in planning, shooting, and taking content to completion. This individual is a go getter and will work hard to help their teammates and the company as a whole!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies to achieve company goals, including but not limited to increasing brand visibility, driving website traffic, and generating leads.
• Create compelling and engaging content for social media posts, including images and videos, tailored to different platforms and target audiences.
• Plan and schedule social media posts using scheduling tools, ensuring consistency in posting frequency and timing.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, topics, and conversations relevant to the brand, and leverage them to enhance engagement.
• Conduct regular analysis of social media performance metrics to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, breakers, and top loaders, to align social media efforts overall.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to continuously optimize social media strategies and tactics.
• Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive relationships and customer engagement.
• Stay abreast of social media platform algorithm changes and updates, adjusting strategies accordingly to maintain maximum reach and effectiveness.
• Be able to produce multiple long-form videos per week as well as clip and post short-form videos daily.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE A PORTFOLIO TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
• Some Knowledge of the Sports or Sports Card industry
• Must be open to Travel opportunities
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro, and Illustrator
• Ability to stay organized and on task
• Ability to meet sometimes short deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to take on multiple tasks at a time
• Ability to communicate effectively

• Must be a proactive and enthusiastic team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
