  • Lead electrical engineering design for spacecraft subsystems from conceptualization, simulation, part grade specification, layout, fabrication, and acceptance testing under limited direction.
  • Exercise technical knowledge of the limitations of proven concepts and practices on electrical systems, equipment, and/or hardware to correctly evaluate alternatives or risk associated with using or replacing a nonconforming component for orbital requirements.
  • Participate in spacecraft subsystems design reviews, integrated test planning and execution.
  • Design and integrate flight software into embedded platforms, with an emphasis on hardware interfacing using low-level C, assembly, and/or RTL.
  • Provide technical direction as the primary spacecraft electrical subsystem technical contact.
