Law Offices of Thomas Stahl is Hiring a Family Law Associate (FT) Near Columbia, MD
- Manage family law, estate planning, probate and estate litigation cases
- Assist with other cases as needed
- Prepare and draft motions, pleadings, discovery requests, financial statements, and other documents
- Taking depositions and affidavits of clients and witnesses
- Conduct and analyze legal research
- Able to manage timelines and readily adapt to changes
- Able to manage client expectations and demands
- Able to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Minimum of 1 year of family law experience
- Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience
- Estate planning, probate and estate litigation experience a plus
- Admission to Maryland Bar required
- Admission to DC Bar is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Good writing and editing skills
- Good organization skills
- Experience with Microsoft applications suite
- Experience with case management software (Clio)
- Able to manage multiple caseloads
