The Position?

Law Offices of Thomas J. Wagner, LLC is looking for an Associate Attorney with general liability defense experience - at least 5 years. This is an excellent opportunity for the right lawyer who might be a little weary of the larger Firm treadmill and wants to practice law like a lawyer, and not a super-adjuster.

Qualifications?

• Approximately 5 years of actual litigation experience - defense experience is preferred.
• Attention to detail and successful task completion
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong research abilities and written and oral communication skills
• Strong work ethic, ability to self-manage and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities To Start?

• File review, develop litigation and trial strategies.
• Extensive legal research and Motion practice.
• Prepare for and manage court appearances successfully
• Strategic depositions of fact and expert witnesses
• Prepare pleadings and engage in discovery
• Commitment to respond promptly to all e-mail and phone inquiries and understand the urgency demands in a trial practice
