Legal Assistant/Paralegal

Seeking experienced candidates with at least 2 years of professional legal experience in a fast-paced law firm.

Preferred candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Ability to manage a heavy case load
• Draft basic pleadings, and knowledge of legal processes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of the Florida Electronic Filing System
• Detail Oriented

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Drafting Complaints.
• Following up with Process Servers.
• Electronic Filings through the Florida Portal.
• E-Courtesy through the Eleventh and Seventeenth Judicial Circuit.
• Schedule and coordinate hearings.
• Review and monitor Court Dockets.
• Monitor and audit accounts to ensure that Office Goals are met.
• Perform multiple clerical duties on a daily basis.

$12-$20 per hour based upon experience full benefits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
