Law Office Of Conrad Bayelle & Associates, LLC is Hiring an Immigration Paralegal Near Silver Spring, MD

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare applications and petitions for attorney review prior to submission to immigration court or USCIS
  • Serve as clients’ primary point of contact for assigned cases
  • Assist clients with filling out questionnaires and forms
  • Educate clients regarding the immigration process as it relates to their specific case
  • Respond to client emails and telephone calls in timely manner
  • Serve as interpreter for Spanish speaking clients’ appointments as needed
  • Provide certified translations (Spanish to English) of documents for clients as needed
  • Receive client payments and provide a receipt for all payments taken in-person
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate’s degree or Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred (appropriate experience may substitute the education requirement)

Experience: 1-2 years prior paralegal or administrative (legal) experience (immigration preferred)

Skills:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks
  • Highly organized and able to manage significant number of tasks, schedules and information
  • Demonstrated ability to foster positive working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Proficiency with any case management system (Mycase)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Travel requirement:

  • No travel
