Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting comprehensive estate plans, including Medicaid and asset protection trusts. Proficiency in Wealth Counsel is a must (no exceptions). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, drafting and reviewing legal documents, overseeing paralegals and legal assistants, and providing advice on estate planning matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives, etc.
  • Develop and implement strategies for Medicaid planning and asset protection.
  • Advise clients on legal matters related to estate planning, including tax implications and trust administration.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of estate planning laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Manage and maintain client relationships with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed in MA, RI, NH or NY.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning, with a focus on Medicaid and asset protection trusts.
  • Proficiency in WealthCounsel software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
