Job Responsibilities:

• Assist senior attorneys in all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
• Have the capacity to organize, negotiate, and record various financial transactions, encompassing secured and unsecured loans, equipment leases, commercial and consumer credit deals, and devising strategies for both lenders and borrowers in restructuring situations.
• Assist in commercial agreements, including leases, financing transactions, operating agreements, and other entity formation documentation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Draft and review various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and closing documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to negotiate and finalize transactional matters.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on real estate-related issues and transactions.
• Handle due diligence investigations, title examinations, and other aspects of real estate transactions.
• Attend closings and represent clients in real estate-related proceedings as needed.

Qualifications:

· Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

· Licensed to practice law in New York/New Jersey.

· 10 plus years of experience in real estate law.

· Experience practicing real estate law, preferably in a law firm setting.

· Strong knowledge of real estate transactions, contracts, and financing.

· Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

· Client-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

Salary: $175,000.00 -$250,000.00
