We are seeking an experienced Case Manager to join our Pre-Litigation team. This role is responsible for pre-litigation case management for personal injury cases contributing to a successful outcome for our clients. Billingual (English & Spanish) is a big plus. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE WORK POSITION.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working under our firm’s attorneys to manage a case load of personal injury cases
  • Deliver immaculate client service while maintaining a strong focus on client medical treatment and answer client questions
  • Draft and send demand letters
  • Develop each individual case according to office policies and work diligently and proactively to address liability issues, and accurately draft liability, PIP and UIM demand letters.
  • Acquire and review medical and billing records throughout the treatment phase of the case
  • Accurately maintain case management data in Needles (case management database)
  • Effectively communicate with assigned attorney using multiple mediums (i.e. email, Needles, case reviews) to address any case building, property damage, or case settling issues and direction
  • Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in personal injury law cases
  • Experience with preparing liability correspondence and demand letters
  • Professional appearance and behavior
  • Ability to research and analyze data.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, staff.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and experience with Needles Case Management software
  • Knowledge of auto insurance to include property damage, bodily injury, liability, commercial, uninsured motorists and personal injury protection

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years (preferred) of experience in a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills on the phone, in person and email
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information
  • Superb organizational and time management skills to include meticulous attention to detail
  • Must be able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Outstanding attendance and punctuality
  • Excellent client service skills and the ability to promote and maintain a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization
  • Ability to think critically and use logic and reasoning to understand, analyze, and evaluate situations and exercise good judgment to make appropriate decisions

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; college degree or paralegal certification a plus

Working Conditions

Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions. Some overtime may be required in order to timely accomplish work demands.
