Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you have experience in dental assisting, infection control, and possess strong knowledge of dental procedures, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures including surgical implant placement and endodontics
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take dental x-rays
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Assist with CAD/CAM systems for digital impressions
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to take accurate dental x-rays and perform vital sign measurements
