State Associate Attorney - Workers' Compensation (2-5 Years) - MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE CA STATE BAR ASSOCIATION
Laughlin, Falbo, Levy & Moresi LLP (LFLM) in San Diego, California seeks motivated Workers Compensation associate attorneys for both State and Longshore to join a busy insurance defense firm handling litigation of claims under the Federal Longshore & Harbor Workers Compensation Act and Defense Base Act and CA State Workers Compensation. Some experience is preferred.
Responsibilities include file analysis, case evaluation, client reporting and communication. Development of litigation and discovery plan. Preparation of written discovery and taking witness and expert depositions. Qualified candidates will have excellent research and writing skills with the ability to draft appeals, trial briefs, motions, and memorandums of law. Qualified candidate will also have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
