Hiring Experienced Janitor/Maintenance Worker

We are seeking an individual who understand the importance of cleanliness and technique. Someone who can work independently without supervision. The qualified candidate will possess a commitment to keeping our venue spotless.

The position requires you to perform heavy cleaning duties, The ideal candidate will be able to perform General Building Maintenance a Repairs.

Professional, positive, and ready to work!

Duties:

-Clean two-story building by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming. Gather, empty, and discard trash.

-Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.

-Steam-clean or shampoo carpets. Polish floors.

-Remove and replace light bulbs inside facility

-Maintain a clean work area in accordance with health codes. Ensure that custodial workstations are kept clean, orderly, and in good repair.

-Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

-Maintain cleaning supplies, equipment, and inventory.

-Maintain or do not disturb insecticides and fumigants arranged by Pest Control Company to prevent insect and rodent infestation.

Qualifications:

-Covid Vaccination - a plus!!!

-Minimum 1-2 years cleaning experience in fast paced restaurant environment.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Must be friendly, hard working, and attentive. Attention to detail and time management are key.

-Knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment and techniques required

-Must be able to follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

- Must be able to monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours, guarding entry/exit doors as needed, and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

-Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods (4-5 hours). Capable of climbing ladders, and bending, stooping, or kneeling to clean floors.

-Discretion and professionalism expected at all hours when guest are present and when working independently

-Able to work nights/weekend/Holidays. Flexibility is a must!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
