New Job Opportunity - Certified Industrial Hygienist:

New and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Columbia, MD.Looking to hire an experienced Industrial Hygienist with at least four years of prior related professional experience. Must have CIH Cert 

Logistics of the Role:

• Full Time - Direct Hire 
• Hybrid - 2 days a week the other three from home.
• Salary: 115-120k 

Day to Day Activities:

• Takes effective steps to ensure that workplace conditions comply with applicable federal and state Occupational Safety and Health standard provisions of any labor agreement, ensuring that all required records are prepared and maintained.
• Creating and executing studies to monitor and assess employees' exposure to health risks, and to measure the effectiveness of occupational health programs, policies, and procedures.
• Participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections and in any procedures that may follow a citation.
• Investigates, prepares reports, and forwards documentation to customer as required.
• Reports on injuries and fatalities.
• Conducts safe work procedures training courses.

Qualifications: 

• Must be a current Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
• Working knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office and MS PowerPoint.
• Would like to see experience supporting government 
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain Public Trust Security clearance.
• Bachelors degree and 4 years of prior relevant experience
