Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter with a focus on residential projects to join our dynamic team in Longwood, FL. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced drafter looking to transition from a contract role to a permanent position within six months.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed architectural drawings for residential projects using AutoCAD.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
Modify and update existing drawings as required, ensuring all designs meet project specifications and standards.
Utilize Revit software for drafting and design, where applicable.
Maintain organized project files and ensure all drafts are completed on time.
Communicate effectively with project managers and team members to address any design issues or changes.
Requirements:
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting, specifically in residential projects.
Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with Revit is preferred.
Education: Relevant degree or certification in drafting, architecture, or related field is a plus.
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder due to government regulations.
Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
