Lasko Products, Inc is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near West Chester, PA
Lasko Products, an industry leader in designing and manufacturing portable fans and heaters for over 100 years, is hiring for a Staff Accountant for our West Chester, PA headquarters.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with month-end close
- Preparing monthly journal entries
- Prepare and sign off on balance sheet reconciliation accounts
- Analyze financial statement flux analysis for variances
- Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations monthly or quarterly
- Experience working with and reconciling prepaid expenses, setting up schedules expense recognition
- Experience working on Fixed Assets, depreciation, and disposals. Sage Fixed Asset Experience a plus. Reconciling on a quarterly basis and keeping track of projects
- State and Local Tax Support – supporting the senior accountant by running reports, following up on tax notices, following their direction on solving tax challenges
- Ad hoc projects
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
- Support process improvement projects
- Testing for ERP upgrade

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- 0-1 year of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Proficient in MS Excel is a must. QAD, Sage Fixed Assets, Avalera Sales Tax all a plus
