Facility Maintenance Technician

Facility Maintenance Technician fulfills the daily, weekly, and monthly activities; providing leadership, motivation, training, and development of the workforce; executing against company and customer requirements and overall Machine and Equipment Maintenance performance to ensure the highest quality products; assist in development and production of displays.

Main Job tasks and responsibilities:

• Executes Periodic Maintenance and Overhaul of company Production Equipment
• Overhaul/PM of Laser equipment to ensure the highest quality product is produced for customer satisfaction.
• Maintain PM and repairs of company owned air compressors and generators.
• Assist with development and production of displays in conjunction with Product Development Department
• Ensure overall facilities are maintained to the highest standards including janitorial services, interior building repairs and maintenance, exterior building repairs and maintenance, general management of grounds at 3 company owned locations.
• Deliver a safe, secure, clean, and fair work environment for associates.
• Ensure company policies are communicated, administered, and enforced (i.e., operational, safety, regulatory, and administrative)
• Ensures the associates have proper access to the necessary tools to perform their assigned duties and that the tools are routinely maintained.
• Operate within the agreed budget (P&l) for the site (allocation of overtime, purchasing, etc.)
• Ensure daily/weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished (i.e., equipment, space)
• Execution of workshop action plans, projects, and best practices sharing/implementation
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Requirements:

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Good organizational skills
• Knowledge of power tools
• Knowledge of power tool safety (Usage)
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Facility management (i.e., maintenance, sanitation, etc.)
• Strong Communication skills
• Strong electro/mechanical equipment troubleshooting capabilities.

Primary Objectives:

• The primary objective of the Facility Maintenance Manager is to ensure that the facility equipment, machines, and overall facility operations are maintained and operating at a high level and to ensure that customer specified displays are built to customer satisfaction.
