Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Business Applications to oversee the implementation of their new ERP system. Reporting to the CIO, the successful candidate will play a critical role in stabilizing their technology environment, executing major initiatives and reducing dependency on third-party consultants.

Director of Business Applications Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of ERP projects, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful integration
• Drive initiatives to stabilize and optimize the technology environment, including ERP, manufacturing systems and supply chain management tools
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively to meet business objectives
• Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements and regulatory guidelines throughout the project lifecycle

Director of Business Applications Requirements:

• Proven experience in launching ERP projects, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical background with experience in backend database management, systems analysis and data flows
• Ability to adapt to change and drive innovation, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders, managing vendor relationships and leading cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
