Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Specialist - Payroll is to support all administrative payroll tasks, coordinate payroll processing with Alight Services Team and have responsibility of all payroll processing including payroll inputs, tax reconciliation and funding requests.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.'s policies, practices, and procedures.

All Las Vegas Sands Corp. Team Members are expected to conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner at all times.

Team Members are required to observe the Company's standards, work requirements and rules of conduct.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Research payroll inquiries from team members, Alight Services team, and other miscellaneous payroll-related duties.
• Process payroll inputs in Workday or other systems as required
• Reconcile and process tax impounds and payroll tax liability
• Complete and reconcile funding requests
• Confidentiality and discretion are essential functions of this job.
• Perform job duties in a safe manner.
• Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Proof of authorization / eligibility to work in the United States.
• AA and / or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or another quantitative field, or equivalent payroll analysis experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
• 2 years of payroll experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of laws and regulations regarding payroll and related topics is required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, experience with V-lookup and pivot tables preferred.
• Working knowledge of Workday.
• Well-organized and exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and interact appropriately with management, other Team Members and outside contacts of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
• Must be able to work Monday to Friday day time and weekends when needed.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to :

• Physically access assigned workspace areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, and dust.
• Utilize laptop and standard keyboard to perform essential functions of the job.
