A leading investment management firm Is looking to bring on an Accounting and Reporting Supervisor to the firm's broker dealer arm.

This position will report directly into the CFO and help manage a team of accountants who will also carry out broker dealer accounting functions.

Title : Accounting and Reporting Supervisor

Location : New York City

Salary : $115,000-$125,000k / yr

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all accounting functions and ensure their accuracy in preparing quarterly and annual reports
• Serve as firm subject matter expert on SEC reports and filings, as well as an emphasis on FOCUS reporting
• Exercise active knowledge of computations related to 15c3-1 and 15c3-3
• Ensure proper cash balances daily and assist with other general treasury management

Key Requirements :

• 4 years' experience in broker dealer accounting functions
• Series 27 licensing (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
