Description

• This dedicated engineer will have the ability to provide efficient and detailed work.
• This person will be utilized on projects related to commercial and residential site design, grading, drainage and erosion control, athletic facility improvements, and many other civil-related projects.
• This position will be responsible for the development of project designs and construction documents by utilizing the most current version of AutoCAD.
• This person will also be responsible for coordinating site inspections and observations during the construction season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
• 0-2 years of civil site design experience. At a minimum, previous internship within a civil engineering firm is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and strong attention to detail.
• EIT certification or the ability to quickly obtain certification.
• Prior experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is preferred.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
• Prior experience with construction observation and utilizing various surveying equipment is a plus.
• Mn/DOT certifications for bituminous asphalt, concrete, and base aggregate are a plus.
