Your Opportunity Impact
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Lead, Sr. Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Larson Design Group in Tampa, FL. This key leadership role will play a pivotal part in expanding our presence in the market and contributing to the success of our land development engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee regional project management activities, ensuring successful execution and delivery of land development engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement growth strategies in alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide strategic input and support for the growth and development of the Tampa, FL market.
  • Offer leadership, mentorship, and support to the project management team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation & modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
  • Manages large clients/projects, strategic clients, and clients/projects which may require more complex, multi-departmental services exceeding $1M revenue; responsible for project profit objectives.
  • Creates and tracks larger, more complex, and/or multi-departmental client proposals including writing scope, technical & price proposals, statements of interests, amendments, developing budgets & schedules, and identifying potential issues.
  • Prepares workload forecasting reports.
  • Possesses knowledge of Codes and Standards applicable to design of projects.
  • Prepares technical and price proposals, statements of interests, amendments, and schedules.
  • Promotes, utilizes, and supports quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce design errors & omissions.
  • Prepares, reviews, and coordinates contract agreements for projects. Signs contract agreement within the allotted parameters provided.
  • Identifies new markets, develops leads & opportunities, performs business development activities, and pursues new geographies.
  • Coaches, mentors, and motivates project team members and sub-consultants.
  • Directs, mentors, and guides team members and staff; provides annual performance evaluations and career development plans.
  • Manages project risk in accordance with company policy.
Education and Experience
  • Education: Bachelors or Masters Degree in position relevant Architectural field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years job-related experience.
  • Licensure/Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced level of knowledge with MS Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Deltek Vision
  • Must possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a Project Team, possess strong leadership & interpersonal skills, and strong time management skills.
  • Must be able to interact professionally with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external sources in a professional manner.
  • Must be proficient in public speaking, creating presentations, and delegation.
