Join our team! Laredo Medical Center's (LMC) Oncology is now hiring a Radiation Therapist to work within the Oncology department at LMC's 326 bed acute care hospital. The department is a secure unit in the main campus of Laredo Medical Center. This is a busy department that sometimes requires flexibility in scheduling. The Hospital is located in sunny Laredo, Texas, just 150 miles south of historic San Antonio. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are available for eligible applicants!

Administers the daily radiation treatment as prescribed by the radiation oncologist for patients of all ages and planned by physics staff; support to include simulation of patients to procure pertinent information for dose calculation and verification filming, patient dosage and possible side effects from radiation treatment, quality control procedures, and patient scheduling and charging. The RT reports to Department Director. There are no subordinates who report directly to the staff RT; however, when in charge, responsible for supervising and giving work direction to other unit personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited radiation therapy school. Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible. Must possess Texas Department of Health license. Requires dependable person with strong interpersonal and communication skills, bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
Experience:
Preferred: 1 Years experience in radiation Therapy.
Licenses:
Required: Licensed as a Radiation Therapist with TDH and ARRT.
