Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Optical Technician to join our team. As an Optical Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as providing excellent customer service to our clients. This is a hands-on position that requires technical expertise and a strong understanding of laboratory procedures.
Duties:
- Perform various laboratory techniques to fabricate eyeglasses.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and precision of finished products
- Collaborate with the optical team to provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in optical technology
Requirements:
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Prior experience working in an optical laboratory or similar setting is preferred
- Familiarity with optical sales is a plus
