About us: LanzaTech was founded on the belief that we have enough carbon above ground to make everything we need. Through our biorecycling technology, we transform carbon into sustainable raw materials, replacing the need for virgin fossil carbon in consumer goods and transport fuels. Our impact: To date, we have abated over 275,000 tons of carbon dioxide (the equivalent amount of CO2 needed to charge 30,346,895,586 smartphones) across three commercial plants, and will soon have the capacity to abate 500,000 tons annually when three more plants launch in 2023.

• Manage inventory receipts, depletions, transfers, put-away, and shipping for Skokie operations in accordance with company practices.
• Assisting in updating and maintaining the accuracy of the item master, from consumption to proper location of material for internal customers.

• Create and maintain agreed inventory levels based on stockholding rules, handle cycle counts and ongoing systemic reporting of inventory consumables and fixed assets.
• Process daily receipts and provide associated administrative follow-up.
• Handle vendor returns, discrepancies, Over Short & Damaged goods, and logistics in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Assist with the set-Up of SKUs, confirming accuracy of SKU listing and descriptions

• Monitor min/max/reorder points – systemically based on historical data and customer requirements
• Maintain inventory integrity, enabling transactional and logistics execution, and reporting of inventory and purchasing activity.
• Warehouse work, receiving, labeling and handling materials and chemicals
• Receiving and delivery of all products entering the building

• Cycle counts and inventory flow throughout for ongoing accuracy and availability of required items
• Items, quantities, and oversight of items which are purchased, fabricated or transferred
• Support product replenishment, consignment or blanket purchase order agreements
• Problem solving project-by-project, supporting Procurement and Materials Management

• 2 - 4 year’s relevant experience in receiving/or Inventory and Materials Management, Service Managers
• High diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift and hazmat certified preferred.
• Detail oriented, computer literate with experience with ERP (NetSuite) systems and Office suite
• Strong analytically, with exceptional follow-up on routine and new opportunities
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Solid communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work in manual processes, such as unpacking and packing boxes.
• Familiar with inventory and cycle counts
• Willingness to pitch in with other team members to get things done when rushes and emergencies occur, regardless of job outlines

• The Freedom Pines site is an environment where heat, chemical or noise hazards are present
• Candidate should be able to climb equipment ladders up to 50 ft., able to enter equipment for inspection, able to use personal protective equipment (PPE), willing to work with hand tools as needed and have the ability to lift 25lbs.
• Warehouse is not temperature controlled.
