Through our biorecycling technology, we transform carbon into sustainable raw materials, replacing the need for virgin fossil carbon in consumer goods and transport fuels. Our impact: To date, we have abated over 275,000 tons of carbon dioxide (the equivalent amount of CO2 needed to charge 30,346,895,586 smartphones) across three commercial plants, and will soon have the capacity to abate 500,000 tons annually when three more plants launch in 2023.

About the role

• Actively participate in the financial month-end close and independently handle assigned areas of the balance sheet and P&L
• Utilize NetSuite daily to record revenue-related journal entries, and to create and run reports
• Work with project managers to analyze and forecast project spending and revenue generation
• Review project expense and revenue transactions for accuracy
• Monitor and report project expenditures
• Ensure expenditures are properly documented, approved, and within scope of the project
• Support preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements and footnotes
• Perform variance analyses and prepare GL account reconciliations
• Reconcile intercompany accounts between U.S. and foreign subsidiaries
• Assist with external group and component audit requests.
• Assist with financial reporting for multiple foreign subsidiaries
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure internal controls and contract-specific requirements are followed
• Assist with process improvements and workflow efficiencies
• Cross train on multiple areas including accruals, fixed assets, inventory, etc.
• Handle ad-hoc projects and tasks, as assigned

• BA/BS in Accounting, Business, or related field
• 3 years of related accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Demonstrable self-organization and time management skills

• CPA credentials preferred
• NetSuite ERP systems experience preferred
