Summary of role:

Lantheus Digital Finance Team is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who shall be responsible for the maintenance and support of our financial planning systems viz., SAP S4 HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and supporting the FP&A team with monthly & quarterly actual and forecast/ budget reporting. The ideal candidate should be excited about being the System Admin of our financial systems and have advanced Excel skills to make routine tasks more efficient. This individual should be eager to work in a fast-paced growth company and gain exposure to reporting and forecasting for the corporate enterprise.

Essential Functions:

  • Become the System Admin for SAP Finance master data and for financial planning application tool SAC. Maintain SAP/SAC across all active environments (Test and Prod).
  • Implements, maintains and updates financial systems including but not limited to our SAP S4/HANA (FI/CO) and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Support new finance systems implementations, support user testing and build new standard or ad-hoc reports in SAP/SAC using SAC Excel add-in.
  • Understand key finance Record to Report ("RTR") processes and ensure systems are maintained according to the accounting policies and GAAP standards.
  • Challenge processes and the status quo to drive improvements.
  • Work directly with all business groups that utilize the planning applications to gather ongoing requirements for end-user enhancements and changes.
  • Support Finance & Accounting team's facilitation of cross-functional implementation of new or improved processes/systems for all related financial systems critical to core organizational functions.
  • Develop strong working relationship with IT and finance teams and work cross functionally to deliver results for the organization.
  • Modifies system configurations and menus, automate spreadsheets and reports, and troubleshoots system issues.
  • Identification of efficiency opportunities for SAP/SAC systems to simplify reporting and business processes.
  • Perform monthly and daily maintenance of the SAP/SAC application including the execution and monitoring of extract and load processes.
  • Maintain key processes used to support the consolidation and financial reporting for the business.
  • Manage integrations and perform validations from source systems (i.e. ERP system, human capital management system, etc..) and ensure data flows downstream as required for the Planful applications.
  • Document current processes and controls, develop Standard Operating Procedures ("SOPs"), admin guides, new system requirements, flowcharts and training materials.
  • Troubleshoot end user issues and training for end users; Trains finance and business teams on the use of financial systems and acts as liaison to the IT department.
  • Create standardized, clear and concise monthly and quarterly financial reports for the entire company for internal and external distribution.
  • Demonstrate and promote Lantheus core values of accountability, quality, efficiency, customer service, collaboration and safety.

Minimum Skills, Experience and Education:

  • BA/BS degree with 4 years of experience in financial reporting systems or Accounting Information Systems in an IT/Finance, FP&A or Accounting setting.
  • Experience with ERP implementations, SAP, SAC experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative, team environment with tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of data mining, systems setup, and management reporting
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) general and IT requirements.
  • Good working knowledge of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement relationships
  • Strong documenting experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Power point.
  • Ability to learn systems quickly; strong technical ability of analyzing large amounts of data.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented self-starter with a high emphasis on teamwork, quality of work and timeliness with high-level of integrity and strong work ethic
  • Strong communication skills
