Job Description for a Mowing Technician The Mowing technician is responsible for day-to-day production of all aspect of the mowing services outlined in each customer contract. This will include but is not limited to mowing, trimming, cleaning hard surfaces, hard edging and bed weed control.

Requirements for Mowing Technician

• Operate and maintain various types of mowing equipment including stand-behind mowers, weed eaters, and zero-turn mowers.
• Ensure that all mowing equipment is in good working order before each use.
• Mow lawns and maintain landscaping to the highest standards.
• Edge and trim around trees, flowerbeds, and other obstacles.
• Operate and maintain handheld tools such as weed eaters and hedge trimmers.
• Clean and maintain equipment after each use.
• Communicate with foreperson to know what is expected for each jobsite.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Other Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating mowing equipment.
• Knowledge of lawn maintenance techniques.
• Ability to operate and maintain various types of mowing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
