Landmark Recovery is Hiring a Patient Transportation Driver Near Westerville, OH

Applicant must be 21 years of age or older with an active/valid Drivers License in order to be eligible for company insurance and use of company car.

Schedules:

  • Monday-Friday 12:00pm-8:00pm

Compensation:

  • $16.00-$18.00hr Benefits (Vision, Medical, Dental, 401K, Paid Time Off, Family Leave)


OVERVIEW:
The Transport Patient Engagement Specialist transports incoming patients to the treatment facility. This individual is the first staff point of contact for all patients who require transportation to a facility. The individual ensures safe, secure, and comfortable travel for all new admits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain demonstration of values and mission statement
  • Establish communication with patients and coworkers to improve quality of service and patient satisfaction
  • Transport patients to the facility to designated areas in an efficient and timely manner
  • Follow routing and scheduling instructions given by the Dispatch Manager
  • Accompany patients inside the facility upon arrival and delivers communication to the Receptionist and Dispatch Manager regarding the drop off
  • Offer comfort and support to patients and their families
  • Respect and protect patient confidence and hospital confidentiality by keeping all sensitive and patient information private
  • Follow all protocols and procedures to ensure safe delivery of patients and their possessions
  • Possess excellent driving capabilities
  • Possess the ability to de-escalate situations
  • Maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment
  • Routinely comply with the standards set forth by HIPAA
  • Work as a highly dependable, independent member of the treatment team
  • Maintain flexibility in work schedule
  • Committed team player willing to learn new skill sets

  • Quick response to all incoming communications such as texts, call, or alerts from Admissions or Dispatch staff

  • Accurately estimate time to complete all tasks


Language, Math and Reasoning

  • Work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:

  • Applicant must be 21 years of age or older in order to be eligible for company insurance and use of company car
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience
  • 1-year prior experience working with Substance Abuse populations strongly preferred
  • Crisis Intervention Training strongly preferred
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Clean driving record for at least 3 years
  • Must be committed to drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use
  • Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • CPR Certified preferred

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Competency with electronic health records
