Compassionate Care Transportation Drivers are essential in providing safe and reliable transportation services for individuals with medical needs, requiring a combination of driving skills, empathy, and professionalism. We believe that the sign of true character is in how you care for others.
Essential Functions:
1. Transportation Services: Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other destinations as scheduled.
2. Client Assistance: Provide assistance to clients getting in and out of vehicles, ensuring their comfort and safety during the journey.
3. Communication: Maintain clear and respectful communication with clients, their families, and healthcare providers to coordinate transportation schedules and any specific needs.
4. Safety and Compliance: Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols, including vehicle maintenance and cleanliness, to ensure the safety of clients and oneself.
5. Compassionate Care: Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards clients, recognizing and respecting their individual needs and circumstances.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, time, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
7. Professionalism: Represent the company in a professional manner, including appearance, behavior, and communication.
8. Flexibility: Be willing to accommodate changes in schedules and routes as needed to meet the needs of clients and the company.
9. Problem-solving: Handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively, such as traffic delays and client emergencies, while ensuring the safety and comfort of clients.
10. Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and provide the best possible service to clients.
Education and Experience
● High School Diploma and/or GED
● PASS certification, preferred, but not required
● CPR & First Aid certification, preferred, but not required
Requirements:
● Valid drivers license and Clean Record
● Excellent customer service skills
● Drug & Alcohol screen
● Background check
Full-time Hours:
Monday – Friday - 8am – 4:30pm
5pm – 11pm
Part time Hours:
Monday – Friday - 8am – 1pm
1:30pm – 5:30pm
6pm – 11pm
Saturday & Sunday
8am – 1pm
1:30pm – 5:30pm
After hour service upon request and pre-booking (5:30pm – 11pm).
