Enhancements Technician Summary

As an Enhancements Technician, you will play a vital part in executing small to mid-size landscape projects such as garden bed installations, turf installations, tree and shrub planting, drainage projects and light hardscaping. With a focus of ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of plants, trees, and other living components. The ideal candidate possesses a passion for horticulture, a keen eye for design, and a commitment to enhancing outdoor spaces through vibrant plant life and various technical features.

Key Responsibilities for the Enhancements Technician

• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Deliver high-end customer service to all clients by communicating effectively to address questions, provide guidance, and ensure satisfaction.
• Keep all tools, trailers and vehicles clean and organized.
• Collaborate closely with landscape designers to understand softscape design plans and project requirements.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects.
• Install and maintain a variety of plants, trees, shrubs, flowers, and other softscape elements.
• Prepare soil, plant beds, and irrigation systems to ensure optimal conditions for plant health and growth.
• Irrigation maintenance.
• General masonry and carpentry.
• Low voltage lighting installation and maintenance.
• Tree work Including, but not limited to: 
  • Tree felling and ground crew work
  • Safe operation of chainsaw and chipper

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in softscape installation, tree work and maintenance is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of plants, horticulture, and softscape design principles.
• Ability to interpret and implement softscape design plans.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality landscapes.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, lifting, planting, and working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record preferred.
