Accounting/HR Assistant
Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to: answering incoming calls, photocopying, faxing, filing, opening and distributing mail to appropriate departments.
Setups and coordinates, events, meetings, conferences, trade shows. Assist Accounting department with orders, invoices management.
Researches, prices, and purchases office equipment and supplies.
Performs duties required as Human Resources representative for employees hiring and benefit administration.
Maintains time clock usage and prepares bi-weekly payroll time reporting.
Creates and maintains employee personnel, medical, and confidential files.
Maintains petty cash and bank account.
Works closely with Purchasing Department and Controller on a wide range of purchasing and accounting tasks and data input for SYSPRO software program.
Voucher supplier invoices and process weekly payments.
Process customer payments and follows up on overdue accounts.
Performs administrative and record-keeping functions for workers' compensation injuries and accidents.
Maintains the Contractor Management and Review systems, ISNetworld and PEC Safety.
Maintains Employee Handbook, Employee Benefit Guide, and HSE Manual.
Observe and follows all company health, safety and environmental policies, rules and regulations.
Other duties may be assigned.
